É uma grande honra para Philippe Lawrence que as canções “The Reason Why” e “One More Time”, que compus e interpretei, foram escolhidas para fazer parte da música das séries brasileiras “Ti Ti Ti” e “Top Model“, que foram assistidas por milhões de telespectadores em todo o mundo, e para terem sido incluídas em 5 álbuns ao lado de artistas internacionais como Tina Turner, Bee Gees, Led Zeppelin, Toto, FR David, Kassav e muitos outros.

Na época, o canal brasileiro TV Globo selecionou músicas dos maiores artistas nacionais e internacionais do momento para sua série chamada telenovelas ou novelas e, ao mesmo tempo, lançou compilações dos melhores títulos. A canção “The reason why” foi escolhida pela TV Globo para sua telenovela ” Ti Ti Ti“. Em particular, esta canção foi escolhida para o tema de Suzana, cuja personagem foi interpretada pela atriz Marieta Severo.
Esta série de Cassiano Gabus Mendès, criada em colaboração com Luís Carlos Fusco, dirigida por Wolf Maya e Fred Confalonieri, foi transmitida no Brasil em 185 episódios, de 5 de agosto de 1985 a 8 de março de 1986, no canal brasileiro Rede Globo.
A telenovela “Ti Ti Ti” foi transmitida na Bolívia, Chile, Alemanha, Grécia, Guatemala, Hungria, Indonésia, Nicarágua, Paraguai, Peru, Polônia, Portugal, República Dominicana, Romênia, Rússia, Turquia, Uruguay e Venezuela, entre outros.

One More Time na série “Top Model” para o tema Nana
A canção “One More Time” foi escolhida pela TV Globo para sua telenovela “Top Model“, para ilustrar o tema da personagem Anastacia Passos, conhecida como “Nana”, interpretada pela atriz Zézé Polessa.
A Telenovela Top Model, dirigida por Walter Negrão e Antônio Calmon e protagonizada pelo modelo Malu Mader, foi transmitida em 198 episódios, de 18 de setembro de 1989 a 4 de maio de 1990, pela Rede Globo.
Setado no Rio de Janeiro, ele conquistou o país e tem uma das mais altas classificações até hoje para as novelas das 19h transmitidas na Rede Globo. Foi um dos primeiros a se concentrar no mundo dos adolescentes. Os atores Zezé Polessa e Drica Moraes fizeram sua estréia na TV Globo e foram as grandes revelações desta série, interpretando os divertidos personagens Naná e Cida, respectivamente.
A telenovela “Top Model” foi transmitida em sua totalidade de 19 de dezembro de 2011 a 8 de setembro de 2012, 21 anos após sua primeira transmissão.
